Unique Solutions is a strategic shareholder in the Africa Coast to Europe (ACE) submarine fiber optic cable consortium in The Gambia. When the ACE cable landed in Banjul, it provided a direct link to global international undersea fiber optic systems, dramatically increasing bandwidth capacity and reducing costs for internet and phone services. As a private sector participant, Unique Solutions has leveraged the new bandwidth platform which offers a minimum capacity of 1.92 Tbit/s across 17,000 km from France to South Africa to drive new services at more affordable rates for its customers. This partnership ensures Unique Solutions can offer high capacity, reliable international connectivity as the backbone for its other technology services, including financial clearing and cloud solutions

The Central Bank mandates that all financial institutions in The Gambia connect to GAMSWITCH, providing the regulatory framework and supervision of all settlement activity. This partnership positions us as the technology partner developing and operating a system that falls under the direct oversight of the nation's central banking authority, ensuring the security, compliance, and reliability of the financial infrastructure
